Top teams do not often lose to unranked teams in women’s college basketball. Nobody got the memo this week though. Five top 15 squads lost to unranked teams in a span of four days. It looked like the biggest shock of the week was coming at Baylor when Iowa State shocked the Lady Bears. That only lasted a day though before Colorado slipped past top ranked Stanford in an overtime thriller. If this week taught us anything, it’s that this could be the NCAA Tournament with more upsets than we have seen in quite some time.
