The College Football Playoff is coming back for yet another year, and this time, it'll be packed with some exciting action. The semifinal games will take place on New Year's Eve, with the title game following just days later, in January 2023. After an intensive CFP championship, the selection committee has decided which team would face off in the 2022-2023 College Football Playoff.
The top teams selected include Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and Ohio State. Others in positions 5 and 6 are Alabama and Tennessee. We’ve highlighted some more information below, including where those eligible teams need to go if they want an opportunity to play in one of the bowl games.
Semi-Finals And Final Games
The 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship is set to be a historic event, as the top teams compete for this title on January 9, 2023. On December 31, 2022, George and Ohio State will face off at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl.
On the other hand, Michigan and TCU will face off at the State Farm Stadium, Glendale, for the Fiesta Bowl. The semifinal winners will meet at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, for the National Championship.
Worth noting, Georgia and Michigan have managed to take the first and second positions, followed by TCU and Ohio State at number three and four. Tennessee and Alabama were the initial teams to bow out at position five.

How To Watch The College Football Playoff Championship
The matches will be broadcast on ESPN by the talented Chris Fowler, who will manage the play-by-play tasks. Likewise, Kirk Herbstreit will be the analyst, and Rowe, the sideline reporter. Chris and Kirk have been involved in the tournament’s reporting since their games started in 2014.
The semi-finals will air on ESPN TV network on New Year's eve. The broadcast times will be 4 pm for the Fiesta Bowl and 8 pm for the peach Bowl.
