Last Four In: Mississippi State, UCF, Maryland, Liberty
First Four Out: Virginia, Penn State, Texas State, Ohio State
There are not many drastic changes this week. Virginia and Ohio State are the only two teams to exit the tournament. They are replaced by Mississippi State from the SEC and Charlotte from the C-USA as an at-large bid after UAB is now projected to win the C-USA. Again, there are still a handful of teams who could potentially become a top-16 national seed, but just miss the cut. Conference play begins to wind down and conference tournaments will be starting within the next week or two.
