4/17 Softball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: California, Coastal Carolina, Michigan, Iowa State

First Four Out: Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, San Diego State

Another shakeup in the Top 16 seeds as Texas A&M takes the top spot after a strong showing against LSU, including a sweep. Duke is the next team up looking to take a seat in the Top 16 next week. Iowa State is showing a strong surge as they make the field this week. Three Big Ten teams make up three of the four in the First Four Out. Outside of those three and San Diego State, there aren’t many teams who really have the resume to be considered for the field at the moment other than Baylor, BYU, and perhaps Louisville. They have the best chance at moving into the field in the coming weeks. I expect this to change, of course.
