Last Four In: USF, Coastal Carolina, Wisconsin, Iowa State
First Four Out: Baylor, BYU, Michigan, San Diego State
Things remain relatively unchanged in the bracket this week, with the exception of Wisconsin and Michigan swapping with each other for the final spot in the tournament. There aren’t many major shifts among the top 16, aside from Oregon making a significant jump—up seven spots to become the No. 7 overall seed—after winning its series against UCLA this past weekend. While Oregon’s resume and RPI have been among the weaker of the national seeds, the series victory over UCLA justifies their move into the top eight. Texas Tech drops out of the national seed group, with Duke taking their place. As the regular season begins to wind down, the race tightens heading into the postseason.
